The Texas Stock Exchange began trading its first corporate primary listings Monday in Dallas, moving nearly $100 billion in market value onto the new exchange.
Energy Transfer, Sunoco, SunocoCorp and USA Compression Partners transferred their primary listings to TXSE at the start of trading October 5. The Texas Stock Exchange said those four Energy Transfer-affiliated companies are the exchange’s first primary corporate listings and together represent nearly $100 billion in market capitalization. The securities kept their tickers: ET, SUN, SUNC and USAC. Energy Transfer also moved its 9.250% Series I preferred units.
Dillard’s transferred the same day. The Little Rock-based retailer said it would voluntarily move its Class A common stock and the 7.50% capital securities of Dillard’s Capital Trust I from the New York Stock Exchange to TXSE, with trading on the New York exchange ending after the October 2 close and TXSE trading beginning at the October 5 open. The tickers stay DDS and DDT. No action was required of shareholders. Dillard’s said the move lines up with its Texas footprint. The company reincorporated in Texas in August 2025, and Texas is its largest market, with 54 stores. Its Texas roots go back to 1956, when founder William T. Dillard bought a store in downtown Tyler.
Today, Energy Transfer (TXSE: ET), Sunoco (TXSE: SUN), SunocoCorp (TXSE: SUNC) and USA Compression (TXSE: USAC) are the first primary corporate listings on the Texas Stock Exchange. TXSE and @EnergyTransfer celebrated this historic moment with leaders, employees, and other guests at this morning's market open bell ringing ceremony in Dallas.

A primary listing is the exchange that holds the official listing relationship with a company. The shares can still trade on other venues. Monday’s transfers are a different step from simply making a stock available to buy and sell somewhere else. These companies are moving the home listing itself out of New York.
TXSE and Energy Transfer marked the open with a bell-ringing ceremony at Energy Transfer’s Dallas headquarters. The exchange posted from the event that leaders, employees and guests were there for the market open.
TXSE is a fully electronic national securities exchange headquartered at 4550 Travis Street in Dallas. Its listings calendar shows more transfers already scheduled, including Texas Capital Bancshares on October 8 and Origin Bank on October 13. Dates can change.
