Derrick Chubbs is the president and CEO of the Central Texas Food Bank. Chubbs says, "We've seen a need from people for food at levels we've not seen before or couldn't even fathom."
He says the food bank serves a 21-county area. In September, they distributed food to 297,000 people.
In November, the number increased to 380,000 people.
Chubbs says, "Between now and the end of the year, a dollar will actually make twelve meals."
