We're learning brand new information on what led to a deadly apartment fire in Fort Worth on Christmas Eve.
Kristen Lewis, 35, is charged with capital murder and arson in connection with the Christmas Eve fire at the Tides of Meadowbrook apartments.
Fort Worth Fire Department is now telling us that Lewis and four others were squatting in a vacant unit in that complex; and following a disagreement, Lewis set the unit on fire.
Two of the other four squatters escaped, but the other two had to be pulled out by firefighters.
They were rushed to a hospital, but they didn't make it.
