Heading into the weekend it's a perfect time to celebrate your momma...and KRLD's John Liddle has a lot of ways to make it memorable as he takes you Around Town.

AT&T Byron Nelson

After a sell out in 2022 (and a ton of money raised for Momentous Institute), the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson promises to be another successful tournament in McKinney. K.H. Lee has won in back-to-back years. He held off Dallas’ Jordan Spieth last year. Spieth is out with an injury this time around. But Scottie Scheffler, who is also from North Texas, will play this weekend. Guests at the Choctaw Club will experience an atmosphere unlike anything else in golf.  In addition to the up-close views of both the 16th green and 13th tee, the Choctaw Club offers an expansive 8,000 square foot air-conditioned oasis. There is plenty of interactive entertainment inside the club including blackjack and craps tables, combined with a live DJ, and a full bar experience serving tasty beverages including the signature Choctaw Crush.
