DSO: ¡Bailamos! A Night of Latin Music

Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik and the DSO invite you to a night of sultry Latin music, featuring tango classics and ballads. The fearless, fiery Edna Vázquez, whose powerful voice blends Mexican and American folk, pop and rock into something fabulous, spreads her message of light, love and cultural healing. And GRAMMY® Award-winning Argentine bandoneón artist Héctor Del Curto performs music by the iconic Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel —including the famous "Por Una Cabeza." Argentine master dancers Celina Rotundo and Hugo Patyn become the seductive, sensual tango — the sexiest of all dances — as they glide, kick, and strut across the stage.

Darkfield: Séance, Flight, and Coma

The AT&T Performing Arts Center & Realscape Productions bring Darkfield, an immersive audio experience that blurs the line between reality and imagination. Staged inside custom-built shipping containers, Darkfield uses 360-degree binaural sound and sensory effects to transport audiences into unsettling, pitch-black worlds. Three experiences—Séance, Flight, and Coma—challenge perception in different ways. Séance places audiences inside a Victorian séance room where the unknown may be summoned. Flight replicates an airline cabin, exploring the Many-Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics, where two realities unfold simultaneously. Coma invites participants to lie down together in a mass experiment, blurring the line between waking and dreaming.

Hero Fest

Hero Fest 2025 is set for Saturday, May 10th, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Griggs Park. PBR World Finals: Eliminations

Strings Across the Pacific

Strings Attached Across the Pacific is a concert with a unique ensemble of culturally diverse string instruments, where the two-stringed bowed instruments from the East, the Korean haegeum and Chinese erhu, meet a string quartet from the West. The concert will include the premiere of a 45-minute, multi-movement composition Calling of the Whales by award-winning composer Hee Yun Kim which is inspired by the underwater sound of whales and timbral richness of this sextet.
