
More than 10,000 North Texans were without power Sunday night as temperatures dipped into the teens across the area, according to Oncor. A hard freeze is in effect for most of Dallas-Fort Worth until 10 a.m. Monday.
Just over 10,300 North Texas residents were without power as of 8:33 p.m. Sunday, according to Oncor. Of those, 2,976 were in Dallas County, 1,247 were in Tarrant County, 1,227 were in Collin, and 667 were in Denton County.
Oncor encourages customers to report outages by texting OUT to 66267, downloading the MyOncor app, visiting oncor.com, or calling them at 888-313-4747. It also instructed residents to stay away from downed power lines.
