A protest outside a Fort Worth drag show turned unruly over the weekend and at least three people were arrested.
Protestors and counter-protestors clashed outside Fort Brewery and Pizzeria Sundayday afternoon. The confrontation was captured on video and posted to social media.
According to jail records, two men and a woman were arrested and are facing various charges including assault causing bodily injury and assault on a peace officer.
A group that identifies itself as one that defends marginalized communities says the three people arrested were protesting on its behalf.
The group protesting the show, identified in social media posts as 'Protect Texas Kids,' claims that the counterprotestors had pepper spray and discharged it at them.
KRLD News has reached out to Fort Worth Police, and they didn't have any immediate comment. It's unclear at this time whether any kids had attended the drag show.
