The Dallas County Medical Examiner says at least three people have died of heat-related issues this summer including one child.

Along with the 3 confirmed deaths, officials say they are looking into another 36 deaths as "possibly" heat-related.

Officials with Dallas County Health and Human Services Department say that number isn't necessarily unusual, even with the number of triple-digit days this summer.

"Bottom line, it's hot and people need to do everything they can to stay cool, stay well-hydrated," Dr. Huang said.

Officials say they're still recommending that everyone remain indoorrs as much as possible, and to keep an eye on their health as the summer continues.
