Three of state's Most Wanted offenders in custody, including one from Fort Worth

Three of the state's Most Wanted offenders are back in custody, including one man from Fort Worth.

Officials say 21-year-old Arthur Stevenson of Fort Worth was on the state's most wanted sex offender list until recently. Reports say Stevenson was arrested July 27th at a Fort Worth apartment complex. He'd been wanted since January of 2021 for failing to register as a sex offender. He also has Child Pornography charges out of Parker county.

Texas DPS also had Cameron Bishop of Greenville on its most wanted fugitive list for a parole violation (Original Offenses: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon X3, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon in a Prohibited Place), Assault Causes Bodily Injury.

Officials say Bishop was arrested on July 14th in Commerce with help from the Collin County Sheriff's office and DA's office. Someone will get a Crime Stoppers reward for their help in Bishop's arrest.

DPS says the third man captured is John Havener. He was a fugitive wanted out of Fannin County and was arrested in Durant, Oklahoma after a traffic stop.

Havener was santed for Aggravated Assault Against Public Servant w/ Vehicle, Evading Arrest w/ Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance, Parole Violation.
