Three people are dead in Kaufman County following a vehicle crash involving a car and an 18 wheeler over the weekend.
DPS officials say it happened overnight on Highway 80 near the Windmill Farms exit in Terrell.
Investigators say an 18-wheeler slammed into a stalled car, causing it to go over the concrete railing of the bridge. The driver of the stalled car, 38-year-old Vanecia Deshun Williams, and two passengers, a 14-year-old child and a 9-year-old child, were pronounced deceased on the scene.
The driver of the 18 wheeler was not seriously hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
