Tips from a registered dietitian for health goals into the new year

It's a new year and time to set some new goals. Many people jump in with a new diet and exercise routine, but most of those fail.

Registered Dietitian Amy Goodson spoke with KRLD's Heather Behrens. She gave some advice on how to succeed in your new year resolutions regarding health.


Goodson said you'll be more successful if you start by defining "WHY" you want to reach your goal. That could be to lower your cholesterol or spend more time at the playground with your grandkids.

From there she said to go slow.
