STIRR, the double-decker restaurant and bar known for its rooftop views and the Stevie Ray Vaughan mural on its side, is closing its doors in Deep Ellum, the owners announced this week.
Located at the corner of Main and Crowdus streets, STIRR was the first concept from Dallas-based restaurant group Milkshake Concepts.
Since opening the Deep Ellum flagship, the group has launched several other popular venues, including Vidorra, The Finch, Saaya and Serious Pizza.
In a Facebook post, the company said the closure comes as the restaurant’s 10-year lease comes to an end. Owners said they felt it was the right time to move on.
Milkshake Concepts continues to operate multiple restaurants across Dallas-Fort Worth.
