Today is the last day of early voting here in Texas ahead of next Tuesday's primary and there's still plenty of time to cast your ballot.

Polling places open at 7 a.m. across Texas and close tonight at 7 p.m. Of course, the marque races are the two-party primaries for President, but there's little drama there. President Biden and former President Trump are widely expected to dominate.

Primary voters will also choose candidates for the U.S. Senate, the state Board of Education, the Railroad Commission, judicial seats, congressional and legislative offices,

There are a couple of US House races that could be interesting

Two North Texas Republican incumbents, in the 12th District Kay Granger and in the 26th District Michael Burgess, are both stepping down so there's quite an interest in those races.

In fact, in the 26th District on the Republican side, there are eleven names on the ballot.
