A toddler remains in stable condition after being shot in an Oak Cliff neighborhood over the weekend.
Dallas Police say the child, believed to be about 2-years-old, was wounded by gunfire on Saturday night at a home on Newport Avenue near West Illinois and South Hampton.
Police said the child appeared to be in stable condition while being taken to the hospital. Police have not said anything about who shot the child or why. No arrests have been announced.
