County health leaders in North Texas say fewer and fewer people are signing up to get vaccinated, so many COVID-19 vaccine hubs are adjusting their hours of operation.
When it comes to the COVID-19 vaccine, officials say supply is starting to outweigh demand.
In Dallas County officials say the vaccine hub at Fair Park is adjusting its hours, actually reducing them, because not enough people are showing up to get vaccinated.
Right now, they say only about 1,000 first shots are being given a day.
Officials in Tarrant County say it's a similar story there with more vaccines, less demand.
Tarrant County Judge Glen Whitley tells NBC 5 the county has an excess of 60,000 to 70,000 doses of the vaccine.
A couple of vaccine sites in Tarrant County have already closed because of lack in demand.
