ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD)- Tours will start next week at "One Rangers Way," an apartment complex being built in Arlington's Entertainment District. The complex across Nolan Ryan Expressway from Choctaw Stadium and next to Loews Hotel is expected to open in January.
"Every detail has been carefully curated to create a true connection to the Rangers, the Arlington Entertainment District and the community," says Texas Rangers Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rob Matwick.
Matwick says floorplans offer views of the stadiums and are within walking distance of AT&T Stadium, Choctaw Stadium, Esports Stadium, Globe Life Field and the American Medal of Honor Museum, which will open in March. He says people can now schedule tours which will start next week.
"This is another milestone day here in the Entertainment District," he says.
Cordish Companies says One Rangers Way has 50 floor plans ranging from studios to penthouses. One floor plan is named for Eric Nadel, the Rangers' play-by-play voice.
"I've never even had a sandwich named after me," Nadel says.
When Nadel started with the Rangers in 1979, he says the Entertainment District had Turnpike Stadium and a water park surrounded by fields and parking lots.
"We had no idea what might eventually come here," he says.
Cordish Companies says One Rangers Way is now 80% leased.
