In Tarrant County, testimony begins Monday in the school shooting trial of a former Timberview High School student.
In 2021, bullets flew at Timberview in the Mansfield district. Students scattered and parents went to the scene.
Three people were wounded and a pregnant teacher was injured trying to flee the shooting.
Student Timothy Simpkins was arrested and indicted for attempted capital murder by terroristic threat, a charge that carries a possible life prison term.
