In Fort Worth a jury is hearing testimony in the shooting death of a rapper.

Ronald Berry is on trial for the 2018 shooting death of Denonta Tanksley, a rapper who went by the name Monte Wayne. The shooting happened at Berry's home.

Berry's story in an affidavit was that Tanksley forced his way into the house and was threatening him. A witness who drove Tanksley to the house says the rapper was angry that Berry had made false statements about a theft. That witness said Tanksley spent five minutes knocking on the door before he went in.

Seconds later, 13 shots rang out and it was Berry who called 911 to report he had shot an intruder.
