The suspect in a triple-murder investigation in Henderson County has died after shooting himself at an Ennis Buc-ee's earlier this month.

The triple murder involved the deaths of two women and a man in Mabank. Two others survived.

Police were looking for 29-year-old Christopher Kyle Reid Jr. associated with the investigation when a vehicle driven by Reid crashed into the Buc-ee's in Ennis 40 miles away.

Reid shot himself in the head.

Another woman was injured in that crash but has non-life-threatening injuries.

Reid was initially hospitalized in critical condition after he shot himself October 17th, but Henderson County investigators say he has since died.
