Just before 5 p.m., a truck carrying a load of animal parts was involved in an accident and spilled a large portion of its load on Airport Freeway in Irving.
Ongoing cleanup continues in the eastbound lanes near Loop 12, and traffic is able to pass through using one lane. Police say to expect delays for several hours.
