A driver is recovering from what White Settlement police call minor injuries after crashing a pick-up truck into a tree in a front yard on White Settlement Road Monday.
Investigators say the driver was heading west and crossed into the on-coming lanes before slamming into the tree and also striking a gas meter.
The gas service was turned off until the company could make repairs.
The driver was checked by paramedics at the scene. Police don't know why the driver lost control.
