President Donald Trump gave new remarks over the tight race for the republican nomination in the Texas Senate race.

The president said over the weekend he would be making a decision soon regarding Senator John Cornyn, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Congressman Wesley Hunt.

"I'm giving it very serious thought," President Trump said. "My problem is I'm friendly with all of them. Those are the hard ones."

The latest polling has Cornyn and Paxton within a point of each other with no clear leader.

"You'll be seeing soon," President Trump said.
"They say whoever I endorse wins, that's probably right."

Senator Cornyn recently said his campaign is preparing for both the March 3rd primary and a May runoff election.
