With only two days left in early voting, Dallas County officials are encouraging residents to take advantage of extended hours, with polling places open until 9 p.m. through Friday.
Elections Administrator Heider Garcia urged voters not to wait until the last minute to avoid potential lines.
"Friday, Nov. 1 is the last day of early voting," he said. "Then everything closes down and the voting available will be Tuesday, Nov. 5."
Across the region, voter turnout has been robust, with packed polling stations reported throughout Dallas and Collin counties.
"We're probably going to end with somewhere around 75%-80% turnout in this election," Collin County Elections Administrator Bruce Sherbet said. "We're tracking to be what you would expect for a presidential election. It's always a good turnout, this one is not going to be any different.
Voters are reminded that only printed sample ballots are allowed in the voting booth, with no phones permitted to ensure compliance with voting regulations.
