A family has been chased from their home by a fire that broke out about 4 p.m. Sunday on Feathercrest drive in far north Fort Worth.
Firefighters found the fire really rolling when they pulled up and between triple-digit heat and winds gusting up to more than 20 miles-an-hour, the conditions were right for the fire to expand.
And it did spread to the house next door but fire crews put a stop to it at that point. The first house has heavy damage while the second home is not quite as bad.
