Two arrested in deadly crash caused by street racing

Police in North Richland Hills have arrested two men in connection with a deadly crash in late October.

According to police, Robert O'Brien, 38, and Joseph Branscomb, 30, were racing along Davis Blvd. on Oct. 30th when they caused a four-vehicle crash near Northeast Pkwy.

Gavin Owens, 21, was killed.

O'Brien and Branscomb are both charged with racing on highway with death, a second-degree felony.

Both turned themselves in, and their bonds have been set at $35,000 each.
