Over the weekend, two Dallas police officers were arrested for DWI, both in cities outside the Dallas limits.
Friday night, Senior Corporal James Goetz, a detective, was arrested in Pilot Point for DWI. He has been with the department for the last five years.
Then Monday night in Irving, reports say Officer Deron Coleman was arrested. He is assigned to the Community Engagement and Operations Bureau. Coleman has been an officer for the last five years.
Dallas Police say both men have been put on administrative leave while their cases are pending.
