COLLIN COUNTY (1080 KRLD)- Another body has been pulled out of Lake Lavon after a boat flipped over near Brockdale Park Saturday night.
Deputies say they believe a rogue storm caused the boat to overturn, knocking four boaters into the lake. One grabbed a tree and was able to call 911. He was rescued, but the other three disappeared.
Teams scanned the lake yesterday and discovered the bodies of two of the boaters. The search for the third had to be called off Sunday night because of the weather.
Crews headed back out Monday morning and pulled the third and final body out of the lake.
No word yet on how the men knew each other.
