Two Frisco homes are a huge mess from separate fires Wednesday.
The first fire was at a home on Sundown Trail near Lebanon Trail and the Dallas North Tollway. Officials say the people who were home got out safely but the Frisco Fire Department says the home is unfit for anyone to live in right now.
Less than two hours later, flames erupted in the garage of a home on Brightside Lane just east of Preston Road. One person was home there and got out okay. That home, too, is not safe for people to live there.
The cause of the first fire is still undetermined. But investigators think the second was sparked when several large lithium-ion batteries were being charged.
