A shooting between two groups of teenagers in the Trinity Groves neighborhood left two people dead and several others injured, Dallas police say.
The violence broke out near Canada Drive and Gulden Lane just before 11 p.m. after a fight escalated into gunfire. Officers arrived to find five people shot, all of whom were taken to the hospital. An 18-year-old later died from his injuries.
Police later learned that another group involved in the incident had driven themselves to a hospital, where a 20-year-old was pronounced dead.
Authorities have arrested an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, charging them with murder and aggravated assault. The motive behind the fight remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing.
