Two men charged with bank robberies in Austin have now been connected to a heist in Garland.
Austin police say they arrested Rickey Moore and Zachary Hughes, saying they had committed armed robberies at three Austin banks between the end of January and the middle of February.
Austin police learned that Hughes lived in Waco so they searched there and found evidence linking both men to the robberies.
When Garland police saw surveillance video of the Austin crimes, they believed it was the same two men seen on video from a bank robbery on West Walnut near Garland Avenue at the end of January.
Moore and Hughes are now charged in all four bank robberies.
