Two men wanted in Texas are now locked up in California, waiting to be sent back to Dallas on murder charges.

Ten days ago, officials say a man named Andy Rangel was gunned down on South Polk near I-20 in the southern part of Dallas.

Police determined the names of two men they wanted and those two turned recently up at a US Customs and Border Patrol Checkpoint on the California-Mexico border.

The two men were quickly detained and were locked up in the Imperial County jail in El Centro, California.

It's not clear when Christopher Torres and Vargas Zuniga will be extradited back to Texas to face charges.
