Six hours apart, two men have died in Tarrant County after being hit by trains in unrelated cases.
Thursday night, about 7:30 reports say a man was struck and killed on the tracks that run under Summit Avenue near the Chisholm Trail Parkway.
Police say they spoke to a UP worker who was inspecting the tracks when he found the body.
That was just six hours after a man was killed by a UP train a little southeast of Kennedale. He was still alive when paramedics arrived but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators don't know why the men were walking on the tracks.
