Two men are in the hospital after a fire raced through their Fort Worth home overnight Tuesday, fire officials say.
Firefighters found the home near Lake Como burning furiously and had to pry off burglar bars before they could get inside to rescue the victims, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department. They were flown to the hospital but their conditions had not been released as of 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Fire crews remained on scene through most of the night to keep an eye out for hot spots and to investigate the cause of the blaze.
