Two people remain missing and presumed dead after going missing Sunday in the Elm Fork of the Trinity in northwest Dallas.
In mid-afternoon, Dallas Fire-Rescue was called out to the dam north of California Crossing near Northwest Highway. They were told two people went into the water near the dam and never reappeared.
Searchers kept looking for nearly four hours with no luck.
Dallas Fire-Rescue says they're now considering this no longer a rescue but a recovery operation.
