A woman has died and a man remains in the hospital after they were run over by an SUV in Fort Worth Thursday night.
Police say about 10:30 p.m. two groups of pedestrians were crossing Edwards Ranch Road near the Shops at Clearfork mall when an SUV struck two of them at the Marathon Road intersection.
There is a traffic light there but police have not said if the SUV had the green light.
The two victims were rushed to separate hospitals. The woman died at JPS while the man was taken to Harris Methodist where he is in critical condition.
Investigators say the SUV driver did stop as required and has been answering police questions. No charges have been announced so far.
