Two men are locked up and a third is still on the run a day after a long, wild pursuit of two pick-up trucks in Dallas County.
A police helicopter tracked the first speeding pick-up for at least an hour, relaying information to police cars trying to intercept it and stop it.
Several times, the driver was speeding through traffic on both Highways 175 and I-635 in and around Seagoville. When police closed in the driver would either get off on the service road or reverse course and drive against traffic.
At one point, another pick-up truck showed up and the men in the first truck scrambled out and climbed in with the new driver, and the pursuit continued.
Finally, the second pickup truck drove into a wooded area near Seagoville Road and I-20 where all three men bailed out and ran for it. Police chased down two of them but the third got away.
Seagoville police plan to file charges include evading arrest and aggravated assault against a public servant.
