Winter is getting ready to pay North Texas a visit with a polar blast expected to arrive on Sunday and stick around into the week.
When that happens, people go to work to prepare for the worst. This is supposed to be a dry cold blast, but anything is possible.
TxDOT isn't taking any chances with this weather. It's already getting ready to prepare the roads. Val Lopez from the Fort Worth District office of TxDOT joined the KRLD Afternoon News on Friday.
