The Duncanville basketball teams have been slammed with big penalties from the University Interscholastic League (UIL) executive commitee.

The UIL board voted on Monday to strip the Duncanville boys basketball team of the 6A State Title that they won this past spring, ruling that they used an ineligible player.

And the Duncanville girls program has been banned from the playoffs this year by the UIL, along with head coach LaJeanna Howard who has also been suspended for one year for an alleged recruiting violation.

The 11-time state champion Pantherettes will also be on probation for three years.
