University of Texas Dallas is now offering cash rewards of $125 to any student who gets a coronavirus vaccine.

According to reports, UT-Dallas students who get the shot will also be entered into a drawing to win some hefty prizes, including a $12,000 tuition scholarship, a $10,000 housing scholarship, university store credits and parking passes.

The university has hosted several pop-up vaccine clinics on campus. The next vaccine event will be Sept. 15 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the lower level of the Student Union. The events are open to the UT Dallas community and the public.

The winners will be chosen at random.

"Data suggests vaccination remains the best intervention for reliable protection against COVID-19" said a statement from Dr. Gene Fitch Jr., Vice President for Student Affairs. "If you’ve already been vaccinated, thank you! I’m looking forward to an amazing fall semester. Go Comets!"

Students have until September 27th to enter.
