The UT Austin Student Government has a plan to ban all music of Ye -- the rap artist formerly known as Kanye West -- from public events on campus.
The Daily Texan reports the student government has passed a resolution asking UT administrators to ban all of West's music in solidarity with Jewish students.
The request follows repeated anti-Semitic comments from West including a radio interview with Alex Jones where West complimented Hitler.
West's critical views of Jews have already led many of his sponsors to cut ties.
The administration has not yet responded to the students' request.
In October, Texas A&M announced its football team would stop using a West song as its entrance music onto the field.
