Residents of a Valley Ranch neighborhood are expressing concerns about feral hogs causing damage to lawns and a nearby park.
Neighbors along Harris Court -- just east of MacArthur Boulevard and south of Grapevine Creek -- said the hogs have been spotted late at night and early in the morning, digging up grass and leaving behind significant destruction.
"I don't think anyone's ever had any damage or been attacked by them, but it's just a matter of time," resident Brian Allen said. "The hogs are getting more aggressive and spreading around, coming earlier and staying later. That's my concern."
The city of Irving confirmed it is aware of the issue and has hired a wildlife contractor to address the growing problem.
