A Dallas County Sheriff’s Office transport van carrying inmates was involved in a crash in Arlington on Tuesday morning, the sheriff’s office says.
The crash happened at about 7:20 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 30 near Six Flags Drive, Arlington police said.
Police said a pickup truck switched lanes in front of the van and came to an abrupt stop, causing the van to rear-end it.
The sheriff’s office said all the inmates and the driver were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
