A nearly 30-year veteran of the Plano Police Department has died from Covid-19.
The department confirms that Lieutenant Earnest Oldham's death was due to complications from Covid-19.
He leaves his wife and their teenage twins.
Oldham joined Plano PD in 1992. For five years before that, he was with the Garland Police Department.
