Dallas Police say a bystander was injured in a shooting in the city's Design District Thursday morning. Police were called to an apartment complex at 120 Turtle Creek Boulevard about 1:30 a.m.
Police say two people got into an argument at the complex. They say both had guns, and the two started shooting at each other.
Neither person involved in the shooting was hurt, but police say bullets cut through the door of a tenant's apartment. The tenant was not hit by a bullet, but police say a bullet hit a pipe and knocked a screw loose; the screw hit the tenant in the back of the head.
That tenant went to the hospital but is expected to survive. No one else was injured.
Thursday morning, police were investigating what led to the shooting and had not made any arrests.
