Texas law enforcement released dashboard and body-worn camera footage of officers arresting Jermaine Donald and Leo Tate, two of the fugitives from the New Orleans jailbreak earlier this month.
The Texas Department of Public Safety acted on information it received that Donald and Tate were in the Huntsville, Texas area. Authorities say the two suspects fled when officers initiated a traffic stop.
Walker County Sheriff's Office deputies, the U.S. Marshal's Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, Huntsville Police, and Texas DPS all participates in the arrest.
Eight of the ten escaped inmates have now been recaptured. Antoine Massey and Derrick Groves remain at large, and the $20,000 reward for tips that lead to the capture of each remains as well.
