Fort Worth police are releasing a video of an officer helping a woman whose car was swamped with water during the worst of the rains Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The video shows one of many high-water rescues across Dallas-Fort Worth during the deluge.
The officer's body cam video shows him wading through high water to a car stalled in water halfway up the doors. He opened the driver's side and assisted the driver who was the only one in the car.
A statement from Fort Worth PD says thankfully, this one had a happy outcome. "We urge everyone to monitor local news and public safety sources during significant weather events and remember:
Turn Around, Don't Drown!"
