Lake Worth police now have security video showing Sunday's armed robbery of a pharmacy where a clerk was tased and a pharmacist was held at gunpoint while she was ordered to remove drugs from a locked cabinet and put them in a bag.
On Sunday morning, police say two men stormed into the Walgreen's on Lake Worth Boulevard. An armed man held his pistol just inches from the pharmacist's face and then grabbed her by the hair and dragged her out of camera range.
The other man repeatedly tased a store employee, who along with the pharmacist, was dragged into a back office. Both of them were again threatened with the pistol.
At gunpoint, the pharmacist was also forced to open the safe from which about $5,000 was stolen.
Both women were traumatized and the clerk who was tased had to have surgery to repair damage done by the taser.
