Sunday night's vigil for Carrollton police officer Steve Notham allowed family, friends and fellow officers to lean on one another in their grief.
Officer Notham was killed last week when his squad car was struck by another driver on the George Bush Turnpike.
On a warm, windy night his brother officers remembered his humor and his sense of teamwork and devotion to the community and to the brotherhood in blue. Nothem leaves behind his wife and their 13-year-old son, twin 6-year-old sons and a 1-year-old daughter.
Visitation is Wednesday at Stonebriar Funeral home in Frisco followed by his funeral on Thursday at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
