A wanted man is dead after being shot by police in Parker County Tuesday night.
The Parker County Sheriff's Office reports that Fort Worth police and the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force were searching for a man, intending to arrest him on a domestic violence warrant.
When they found him in a rural part of the county, a Sheriff's Office statement says the officers "were presented with a deadly threat."
A Fort Worth officer shot the unidentified suspect and he was killed at the scene.
