The Fort Worth Police Department released bodycam footage of two officer-involved shootings that occurred last weekend.
The first happened around 8:00pm Saturday, July 25th in South Fort Worth along the South Freeway.
Officers were looking for a suspect with a felony warrant accused of tampering with an ankle monitor.
Police say the suspect had a gun, when officers opened fire, killing the suspect.
The second shooting happened early the next morning, Sunday, July 26th.
Police responded to a domestic violence call and shot a man who was holding a number of knives.
"Our thoughts and our prayers are with everyone involved in these incidents," Fort Worth Police Chief Eddie Garcia said Thursday. "Any loss of life is tragic, regardless of the circumstances."
